Whirlpool Kenmore Dryer Noisy. Dryer Repair Service In Chino Hills Ca. and Chino Ca.
Apco Appliance and Air is in Chino and Chino Hills ca. are working on a noisy Whirlpool Dryer. We were called out because the unit was thumping and squealing. Dave took a few pics of a step by step look at changing the rollers, belt and idler pulley. Remember to always unplug your appliance before you try to work on it. Once we changed the rollers,belt and pulley on this machine the bumping and thumping noise went away.

Whirlpool Kenmore Washer Not Washing The Clothes Well. Washer Repair Service Out Of Chino Hills Ca. and Chino Ca.
Washer repair in Chino Hills Ca. by Apco Appliance and Air were Whirlpool or Kenmore washers agitator is not turning right to wash the clothes. We arrived and popped the rinse aid assembly off the top of the agitator and then with a flat head screw driver popped the cap off the agitator. This exposed the cam dog assembly, which helps catch the agitator. This allows the agitator to agitator only in one direction. When the dogs are functioning properly, they lock when you spin the top agitator counter clockwise and unlock when you spin it clockwise. This top agitator works in the opposite direction as the lower agitator to help funnel the clothes downward and then back to the top. Giving them a great wash. You could tell right away the dog catches were broken. Here's some pics so you can see......

Clothes Dryer Not Heating. Dryer Repair Service Out Of Chino Hills and Chino Ca.
Apco Appliance and Air is working on a Whirlpool dryer repair service call out of Chino Hills Ca. This Whirlpool FRONT LOAD dryer is not heating and is taking a long time to dry clothes. The customer was smelling gas when the unit was running. The technician Dave, removed the lower panel to see the burner chamber to witnessed if the the ignitor was coming on or clicking off without the gas valve opening. If the ignitor was to glow, then kick off with no ignition of gas, that would indicate that the gas valve coils are bad and not opening the gas valve in time. This unit did just that, which is a sign of faulty gas valve coils. This will give gas leakage, and a lack of heat, which then makes the machine not dry on time. Cleaning your dryer ventilation can prevent this from happening.

Apco Appliance and Air is in Chino Hills Ca. / Chino Ca. repairing a dishwasher leaking underneath machine. Tech Dave removed lower front access panel and started machine. It ran for 10 minutes and no leak. Then he put it into a drain cycle and bang ...... there it went. On the whirlpool, Kenmore and kitchen aid models they have a drain hose connection that if not tight enough it will leak. This machine when they installed it, they set the motor pump assembly on the drain hose pushing against it. Here are some pics of hose connection...

Apco Appliance and Air was called out in space saver microwave not heating in Ontario Ca. Customer had told us over the phone that the microwave would run but there was no heat. When the tech arrived he started the microwave and it ran but was really noisy. It was make a strong humming noisy with a vibration. Dave unplugged unit. He has ran into this before so he accessed the high voltage area to get to the diode. Disconnected diode to capacitor and sure enough it was bad. He replace diode and put machine back together. The unit is now fixed..... Here's pics.....

The lint can begin smoldering inside the dryer, and if it continues to the outside to meet something flammable, then there's your house fire for you. GE oven repair in Corona Ca. / East Vale Ca. unit not heating well by Apco Appliance and Air. On most GE ovens you can calibrate the temperatures by holding the bake and broil buttons down for 3-5 seconds. It alows you to set the temp + or - 30 degrees. The unit we were repairing was not a calibration issue but the unit would heat to temperature and would not cycle back on when the time would drop. There problem was that the relays on there circuit board were sticking, which means they need a new circuit board. You must also change the sensors to get the longest life out of a new circuit board.
