It ran for 10 minutes and no leak. Then he put it into a drain cycle and bang ...... there it went. On the whirlpool, Kenmore and kitchen aid models they have a drain hose connection that if not tight enough it will leak. This machine when they installed it, they set the motor pump assembly on the drain hose pushing against it. Here are some pics of hose connection...

Dishwasher repair in Corona Ca. - East Vale Ca. By Apco Appliance and Air. Whirlpool / Kenmore dishwasher, no power at all. Most all of the Whirlpool, Kenmore and Kitchen Aid dishwashers have a thermal fuse up at the control board. When this fuse blows it shuts off all power to the dishwasher. With this dishwasher repair, the customer said that the dishwasher started fine but when it made its way to the rinse cycle, it stopped. The tech found the fuse blown and checked the heater element for a short. Heater was fine, so we put in fuse, now customer should be back in business. Here's pics....

Dishwasher not washing. Dishwasher repair in Corona and East Vale Ca. with Apco Appliance and Air. This dishwasher was not washing dishes well because there was no water entering the machine. First thing to do is check the water float inside the dishwasher below the lower rack. Make sure there is not anything under it keeping the cup up. If it is clear, then more then likley, the problem is this........ The water inlet valve was not opening because it is bad. You could here the valve humming or buzzing very faintly. The valve works off of 110 volts, so if you have a meter you can check voltage to it. If it has voltage, water is not coming in and water is present at valve then the valve is bad. Something you need to know if you own a GE dishwasher. Apco Appliance and Air on dishwasher repair in Chino Hills Ca. This is a common GE dishwasher repair we have to do on these machines. The problem that is called in, is that the machine isn't washing well. What needs to be done is there is a screen inside dishwasher cabnet that sets behind the lower wash ARM. It cloggs up with food, calcium and hard water which blocks the flow of water being injected threw to the lower wash ARM. You remove the wash arm by holding it up while you turn it clockwise. Then you turn the holding nut counter clockwise and remove wash arm support. Then you twist center pieace attached to upper flow tube and remove screens to clean them. Here are some pics..

Dishwasher repair / Appliance repair in Chino Hills Ca. And Chino Ca. by Apco Appliance and Air. This dishwasher was not draining all the water out. This nice customer was trying to fix the machine his self. When the tech arrived the dishwasher was pulled out and tools were all out and about around it. Dave walked in and asked what the machine was not doing. He turned it on and then back off after a minute. He then removed air gap cover and popped off top of air gap. Stuck inside it was a few food particles clogging the drainage. Dave removed particles and unit now drains right. Here are some pics...
