When Dave arrived checked the operation of the machine and found that the heating system was not engaging. He then removed the top and the front of the machine, (If you try this at home make sure to unplug the unit. Taking this unit apart might be best done by someone familiar with LG appliance dryers.) Dave did this to access the burner chamber because on this units they have a safety resettable thermostat located below the burner chamber. He pushed in the reset button on the thermostat, put the unit back together, and fired her up. Once he noticed that the heat was back, he then put the unit in air dry and went out to check the clients vent. Sure enough it was clogged. This is what tripped the resettable thermostat. Our Customer gave Dave the go ahead to clean the vent and then there were back up and running.

Refrigerator repair in Chino Hills | Chino | Corona | Ontario Ca were the tech Dave was repairing an ice maker problem on this unit that was not making ice. Dave removed the dual water valve from the back of the unit by pulling the refrigerator out, then removing the back cover. He then attached a voltage meter to the ice maker solenoid to view what voltage was there. Then he cycled the ice maker and waited until it came to its fill position. The voltage of 120 volts was at the valve solenoid but the valve did not open to send water threw to ice maker. This means its a bad dual water valve assembly. He then UNPLUGGED the machine, turned the water off and preceded to replace the bad dual water valve. The above pictures give reference to the repair. Always UNPLUG any unit before repairing it. Do not attempt repairing a machine with out some experience with voltage for safety. Good luck.

Air Conditioning repair in Corona Ca. on a machine that will not turn on. This unit is Six yrs old, with the condenser outdoors, and furnace within the attic. Dave proceeded to go in to the attic space and opened the furnace panels where he discover a blown 3 amp fuse on the control circuit board. He changed the fuse and the furnace came on perfectly. But once he set the thermostat to the cooling setting the fuse blew once again. The fuse is a component of the 24 volt system. It turned out that the condenser out side had a defective 24 volt contactor which Dave then changed along with the fuse again. The unit is backup and operating with a happy customer.

We arrived and popped the rinse aid assembly off the top of the agitator and then with a flat head screw driver popped the cap off the agitator. This exposed the cam dog assembly, which helps catch the agitator. This allows the agitator to agitator only in one direction. When the dogs are functioning properly, they lock when you spin the top agitator counter clockwise and unlock when you spin it clockwise. This top agitator works in the opposite direction as the lower agitator to help funnel the clothes downward and then back to the top. Giving them a great wash. You could tell right away the dog catches were broken. Here's some pics so you can see......

This machine when turned on made a horrible screeching noise..We opened the door to access the four screws holding the front panel on. We removed the screws and pulled the front panel forward. Remember to always unplug the unit before trying to open it up. Dave then preceded to unhook the belt from the motor and idler pulley. he then removed the 5/16 inch screws holding the filter box and glide front assembly. He then removed the tub so he could look at the 2 rollers and idler pulley. Dave then spun the idler pulley and there was a scratching noise.He the spun each roller by hand and then.... Bang...there went the noise. This is a common problem with these machines after 5 years. Sometimes you can just sand down the shafts and throw some white grease on to quite noise. But on this one the rollers and pulley were worn down to much. Here's some pics to see the parts..

Appliance dryer repair in Chino Hills Ca. by Apco Appliance and Air. Working on noisy GE dryer squealing as it turns. Dave took the 2 screws out that are in the enter upper door area. Then he lifted off the top to look at front glides attached to the upper front felt seal. The front glides disintegrated over time and the tub starting riding down on the rear plastic bushing/bearing and it damaged it. Customer needs new upper and lower front glides and rear bushing now. The front glides are attached to a glide assembly which is located on the front door frame. Here's some pics to help....
