Apco Appliance and Air was called out in space saver microwave not heating in Ontario Ca. Customer had told us over the phone that the microwave would run but there was no heat. When the tech arrived he started the microwave and it ran but was really noisy. It was make a strong humming noisy with a vibration. Dave unplugged unit. He has ran into this before so he accessed the high voltage area to get to the diode. Disconnected diode to capacitor and sure enough it was bad. He replace diode and put machine back together. The unit is now fixed..... Here's pics.....

Microwave / Oven repair in Chino Ca. - Chino Hills Ca. were Apco Appliance and Air is repairing Whirlpool door issue. These microwave door tension springs/rods are always breaking. You have to order the right springs also. There are different tension rods depending on if the door is stainless or not. The wrong springs/rods will result in the wrong tension for the door. To little or to much is bad for the door and its design. When 1 rod breaks the door will just fall. You should replace both even if 1 only breaks. Here are some pics of door from rods showing to being put back together.
