Whirlpool / Kenmore washer leaking water. Washer repair in Chino and Chino Hills Ca. with Apco Appliance and Air. When Dave arrived at the customers house, he started the machine. It started to leak right in the front of the machine. Dave took the front cover off and saw that the pump was leaking right were it connected to the motor. This is the most common problem when these units leak water. The leak is usually very slow and drips in the lower front center of the unit cabnet onto the floor. The pump clips onto the motor and can be changed within 30 minutes by most techs. If you attempt to repair this yourself make sure you unplug the unit. Here are a few pics to help.....
