Refrigerator repair in Chino Ca. & Ontario Ca. by Apco Appliance and Air. This Whirlpool/Kenmore model refrigerator stoped cooling on the customer. The fan in the freezer was running and you could here the fan in the back by the compressor running but not the compressor. The tech Dave checked voltage to the compressor and 110 volts plus or minus was present. The compressor tried to start a few times but was kicking off by the over load on the starting components. So the tech installed a new over load, relay and capacitor kit to replace the old one. The compressor started right up..... The units condencer (which should be cleaned once a year) was completely clogged. This is more then likely what contributed to the components going out. They were lucky it wasn't the compressor.
