HERE IS INFORMATION AND HELP WITH PROBLEM FOR MAYTAG BRAVOS DRYER OWNERS! Dryer repair in Chino Hills Ca. with Apco Appliance and Air. These Maytag dryers have what seems to be a problem with there blower wheel pulley coming off the blower wheel shaft along with the belt that drives it. I have found this happening just under a year and just over a year. Maytag/Whirlpool has not issued any recall but I am sure we will be hearing about this machine more. I tried to reinstall the pulley for one of our customers and it just came right back off. Doing my research Maytag/Whirlpool does not have any information for us but if you have this problem. What seemed to work in the end was putting leak lock on the threads of the pulley shaft and cranking that pulley down. You can do this from the back end without tearing the hole machine down. Put a long screw drive in rear vent to stop wheel from turning when you tighten pulley. Here are some pics and good luck....
