Dryer repair in Corona Ca. aka East Vale Ca. by Apco Appliance and Air. Maytag dryer noisy. This machine when turned on made a horrible screeching noisy. We took apart machine and spun idler pulley plus the rollers by hand. Bang...there went the noise. This is a common problem with these machines after 5 years. Sometimes you can just sand down the shafts and throw some white grease on to quite noise. But on this one the rollers and pulley were worn down to much. Here's some pics to see the parts..
