When Dave arrived checked the operation of the machine and found that the heating system was not engaging. He then removed the top and the front of the machine, (If you try this at home make sure to unplug the unit. Taking this unit apart might be best done by someone familiar with LG appliance dryers.) Dave did this to access the burner chamber because on this units they have a safety resettable thermostat located below the burner chamber. He pushed in the reset button on the thermostat, put the unit back together, and fired her up. Once he noticed that the heat was back, he then put the unit in air dry and went out to check the clients vent. Sure enough it was clogged. This is what tripped the resettable thermostat. Our Customer gave Dave the go ahead to clean the vent and then there were back up and running.

Refrigerator repair in Chino Hills | Chino | Corona | Ontario Ca were the tech Dave was repairing an ice maker problem on this unit that was not making ice. Dave removed the dual water valve from the back of the unit by pulling the refrigerator out, then removing the back cover. He then attached a voltage meter to the ice maker solenoid to view what voltage was there. Then he cycled the ice maker and waited until it came to its fill position. The voltage of 120 volts was at the valve solenoid but the valve did not open to send water threw to ice maker. This means its a bad dual water valve assembly. He then UNPLUGGED the machine, turned the water off and preceded to replace the bad dual water valve. The above pictures give reference to the repair. Always UNPLUG any unit before repairing it. Do not attempt repairing a machine with out some experience with voltage for safety. Good luck.

He installed a heavy duty coupling which has a metal center for long lasting use for there machine. He then snapped the motor, the pump and the cabinet back on. He disconnected the two wires attached to the thermal fuse and checked it for continuity with his meter. He had no continuity which means the fuse was bad and needs replacement.
