Whirlpool / Kenmore dryer repair not heating in Pomona Ca. & Diamond Bar Ca. with Apco Appliance and Air. This dryer was producing no heat at all. First the tech Dave pulled it out to check the thermal fuse but it was fine. Then he popped the top and removed the front to access the burner ignitor. He pulled out the ignitor and he could see a burnt mark on it. This was more then likely caused by lint that accumulated inside the dryer around the ignitor. If dust,dirt,lint lands on the ignitor when it is heating it could cause this type of burning on the ignitor. We installed new ignitor, vacumed dryer and tested unit. Now everything is working great.
