Apco Appliance and Air is in Chino Hills ca. and Chino ca. were they are working on Frigidaire washer not spinning. Dave the technician arrived at the house and put the timer in spin. All he heard was the low humming noise from the motor but the tub was not turning. So he unplugged machine and removed the front panel to see inside the unit. When he removed the front panel by popping the top up to access the two screws holding it on. He saw that the belt was broken and worn. As you see by the picture, the motor pulley and the transmission pulley are connected by the belt. Without the belt, the motor will run, but it can not drive the transmission to turn the inner basket.
