Apco Appliance and Air on dryer repair in Chino Hills Ca. This dryer has no heat at all. Most whirlpool-Kenmore style dryers have a thermal fuse that sits on top or on the side of the blower chamber. If you have an ohm meter put your leads across the 2 connections with the wires of it. You should get continuity across the connections. Unplug the machine first of course. When this fuse blows it cuts the power to the ignition system but the motor and timer will work fine. Here are pics...
