Apco Appliance and Air in chino hills ca. was out on a dryer that caught fire. Dave went out and found a crack in dryer vent hose. This caused lint to build up on back of dryer near heat chamber which caused lint to started smoldering. Advice......check your dryer vents for tears. Good indicator is you will see lint on the wall behind dryer. Here's some picks.
